Just about any Filipino dish my mom makes especially her lumpia. They're egg rolls but made in a spring roll wrapper. Honestly, nobody's egg rolls can compare. Anyone who has tried them agrees.

I wish I could cook the same dishes. I'm trying to learn though, but I need to stop burning my fried rice first.

One of the best things I ever had was some "Pan de Jamon" that someone at work once made. It's basically bread with ham, olives, and some other stuff (raisins?) baked in. It was seriously awesome.

I love Indian and Thai food, the spicy kind that lets you know indeed your mouth, nose, and throat all have nerve endings. Naturally I like the curries, but for the Thai food I like duck dishes...actually I pretty much like duck dishes in general.

Chicken Tikka Masala is one of the best foods ever but I never do a good job making it. I have gone to about 20 Indian restaurants in the Raleigh/Durham area searching for the perfect sauce to chicken ratio. So far Bombay Grille is the winner.

I can cook Italian an Mexican food pretty well.

I can make:
- fried rice (of course I should, shouldn't I? cause I'm Chinese), but I always like others' fried rice better
- chicken/any pasta with creamy sauce (my favorite)
- mashed potato (does that count?)

I wish I could make:
- all the dessert in chocolate family
- sushi
- Indian curries
- those traditional Chinese dishes mom used to make

I love Italian food, and one favorite dish of mine is chicken marsala. I like to make it, as it is scrumptious. And, for dessert I love to make tirimasu...it is mouth-watering.

I wish I could make cannolis better than I do, but I keep working on it. All that rmascarpone cheese is delicious.

Living in Spain I would have to put Paella on ths list. Traditionally from Valencia and made with rabbit, there are many types of paella, but lobster Paella has to be in the top 3.

I wish I could make proper pizza. As in, make the dough, roll the dough, spin the dough, slap on the homemade sauce and other ingredients, slide into a pizza oven for a few minutes. If I could do all that, I'd never leave the house, other than to collect fire wood.

Things I do well: Chili and rice, sandwiches of varying sizes, filling and nature.

I can answer the part "what do you wish you could make" easily. My two favorite desserts of all time are from Italy (cannolis) and Greece (bakalava). There is absolutely nothing better that can end a meal with coffee.

What I do for lasagna is actually really simple. Take your ingredients, I use ricotta, mozarella, and a nice pre-made sphagetti sauce. Layer them in a slow cooker, like a croc-pot. I usually do vegetarian, but you can add meat to your taste.

Simply put down a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break them to best fit the shape of your cooker.) Layer of sauce, layer of ricotta, layer of meat if you have it (cooked already,) layer of mozarella, repeat until the slow cooker is full. Turn it on low and go to work. When you get home you've got Lasagna.

So I'm a food junky. I'm not obese, and I don't live to eat, but I surely enjoy a good meal and love to cook them for others. I watch the Food Network far too much. Alton Brown is my hero, as is Bobby Flay.

I love finding new dishes to make and eat, especially things not from my native land. What can you make, what do you wish you could make?

I can make very well:

Tikka Masala (Indian/British)
Biryani (Indian)
Various Thai Curries
Pad Thai
Bulgolgi (Korean)
Thom Ka Gai (Thai)

I wish I could make better:

Spring Rolls/Summer Rolls
Indian Clay Pot chicken
Ramen (REAL ramen, not instant)
Sushi
