Coffee, good or just plain good for you?

So recently there's been some research showing that coffee has some health benefits. About a decade ago they found that fresh brewed coffee had all types of benefits as well.
But of course, coffee is also generally seen as a vice, an indulgence, perhaps even a bad habit.
What's the general feeling on coffee out there? Good for you, good tasting, bad for you, makes your feet stink...?

I think that there are things in coffee that are definitely good for you, which is a good thing for me because I love coffee. For instance, there are a lot of antioxidants in coffee. But, on the other hand there are some bad things in coffee. For instance, too much caffeine can be a bad thing.
I found this interesting article on coffee and health.

I don't drink coffee because it's healthy for me, although that's good that it can be. I just like the taste.

I'd go for a cappuccino right about now.
It's an absolute necessity for me in the mornings, and again around noon. In between and after morning/noon, it's all for the taste, yum.

A while ago I was looking into effects of large quantities of coffee, and wrote about it - Death by Coffee - what’s your Programming Drink?
Apparently 34 tall cups of Starbucks coffee are deadly. I tend to believe that, as a close friend of mine has nearly overdosed on caffeine. Still, I continue to enjoy coffee in a (loose) moderation. It's not without benefits.
