Let's see... nothing spectacular has happened today. I did quite a bit of home reorganization, though, and while it may prove that I have some sort of disorder, looking at the brand, spanking clean around me feels pretty glorious.

I don't really have anything spectacular in my life today... It's just a normal day.

I'd say it's more crap than good. A family friend 4 weeks out from her due date was rear ended this morning on her way to work and is being monitored in the hospital as I post this...

I had a really excellent walk with the dog today. She had a glorious time gamboling all over the park and chasing geese and I had a glorious time watching her.

It rained all day. I didn't have to walk down the block to water my pepper and tomato plants.

I got to talk to the girl I can't get out of my head. :)
And that makes life worth living everyday the sun rises.

I went to a local rummage sale today and it was much bigger than I thought, had a huge selection of crafts stuff and I did real well :)
Tonight I spent my usual weekly time with my elderly parents and I am always grateful they are alive and in fairly good health.
I filled up on gas and was delighted it was not as expensive as usual.
I decided to style my hair for an upcoming family wedding and because I don't usually 'do' make-up or hair styling, I'm excited.
It was a normal-type day and it was good.

I worked out for the first time in a couple of months today, and feel really good! It was my first time to go to the gym since I quit smoking, and I definitely noticed the difference.

i slept a lot

Nothing overwhelmingly good. I am here, alive for another day. Another day with my hubby. That's enough. :)

There was nothing dramatic or intense that happened. The day was a relaxing one, which is divine, as far as I'm concerned.

Had a good workout today, and for the first time in a long time I feel in shape.

Have had a bug past few days. Got a compliment anyways!

I had my first kickball practice today! It's going to be a fun season!

Just a point of clarification on my note. Something 'good' means anything. I want to get away from the idea that something good has to be either spectacular, like a promotion, becoming engaged, or some other major life change. Those are wonderful but I find it really helpful if I keep track of the less spectacular ways that good shows up in my life too. Sometimes these ways go by other names such as blessings, miracles, etc. It all depends on your perspective. I love the responses.
For me today some of the good stuff includes:
Taking the time to offer some help to a new online friend
Reading your responses
Having a leisurely morning/afternoon at home
Catching up on some long overdue to-do items.

My husband made me a kick arse pizza - that was pretty good today. Also yesterday we went and saw our potential new home which isn't where I wanted to move to but offers us so much potential if we get it - I would end up with a kick arse design studio space as part of the house. I'm going through a disappointment phase and coming out the other side with things happening I'd never have imagined would - so pretty good phase if it all works out and if not well it is only as bad as was before ;)

Today is an extremely good day and it is work related although I'm writing this on a Sunday. A major problem happened that I thought about and wrote a response. I've re-read it carefully a dozen times to make sure it's perfect in every sense. It is.

It rained, for about ten minutes...and that is a great thing due to the severe drought we are in...the worst in over 100 years.

My wife and I piled the kids into the old car last night and drove it to a drive-in. The guy running the movie liked our car so much he let me see the projector room and all of the old equiptment they had sitting around. The night air was cool and there was not a mosquito in sight as we all sat in the front seat watching Ratatouille. A nice end to the summer in Maine.

I spoke to an old friend I hadn't spoken to in about a year. That was nice.

Plus the cute guy at work complimented me, which isn't bad ;)

Today: If I've guesstimated my expenses while in Europe correctly, I'm set to be on budget for my trip. Very anxious about my departure Friday, though!

Today: Last night I chipped a molar pretty bad and didn't realize how bad till this morning. I did some research on the internet and found out that Cleveland has a free clinic that has a dentistry clinic as well. So now I can get my tooth pulled out for free. When you don't have health insurance, even having a tooth pulled out for free makes you feel a lot better.

Today is my mom's birthday and my sister and I went in together to buy her the portable quilting frame she's been wanting.

Then, we all had a wonderful dinner together and dished about the premiere of Gray's Anatomy last week (I don't care for the Lexie character and don't like so many new interns milling about with the Gray folks).

Fun evening!

I started my day off with some wickedly good coffee that inoculated me against office politics and employee angst for the day. It was good. ;=)

Today at work, someone gave me a compliment.
Grapes were on sale at my local grocery store (I love grapes and I love sales!)
I spent time tonight with my mother.

I ♥ my boyfriend.

I won a car...

The sun is shining, and the temperature is in the low 70s...

I slept in 'til noon, getting right at eleven hours of sleep.

I got an email from the person who always manages to make me smile, no matter how crappy I'm feeling.

I went to the barn and spent time with my pony. Beautiful weather, relaxing setting - there's nothing better after a crappy day at the office

I got the day off today!

Just feeling great. Knowing I have the choice in how I feel I can make my day good or otherwise. It's attitude. I'm happy just being happy.

Just knowing it's Sunday and it's beautiful weather. I live in an area that gets winter and snow anytime now, and having one more autumn day on the weekend is extremely appreciated.
