Sure, I have the VPN and I can check out help desk and try to solve problems from here, but I want to know what you do when you're trapped in the house and not feeling so hot.

Yeah I just web surf or play video games. I can still do work too since I do everything on the computer. So to sum up, I really don't do anything differently when I'm sick.

Hot tea, hot chocolate, sleep, listen to music, the snow, rain, or books on tape. One thing I don't like to do when I feel lousy is look at things. I want to be able to close my eyes and drift into better health.
Hope you're better soon Abi.

@Stef - I just learned that illness and watching the Food Network don't mix
@olliewhite - That's what I'm doing, silly! :)
@JPhill - Isn't it funny how much computers have changed our world? My job would exist without them.
@bloglily - Thanks. I think a book on tape is a great idea. Maybe I'll download a book on tape podcast.

I've got a cold today myself and fought on until 4pm and then crashed - just got up after few hours of splat. I seem to (if today is anything to go by) do work really slowly, eat lots of sore throat sweets, get through a box of tissues and mutter about feeling sorry for myself while staring blankly at the screens.

I'd sleep the day off with sporadic blogging and blog surfing in between.

Usually in bed watching tv or DVD's and then later on I might go and chill out on the net, or stay in bed and do it on the lappy if I have it. But I don't at the moment so I'm having to be on the iMac out of the bed!

I call in "sick" to work when I am perfectly healthy but sick of work. I don't answer the phone but drink lots of coffee and watch HGTV or Lifetime. I think up creative 'sick' stories to tell co-workers.

Okay play lots of video games, make that mind numb! Also relax and dont think about tomorrow because if tomorrow you have to go to school or something, then the whole day your sick will be very bad. Also if you keep thinking your sick, then you will be.

I don't feel like watching TV, DVDs, etc., when I am sick. I prefer just sleeping or resting in bed or on the sofa. I don't read when I'm sick, either.
I have taken off of work in the past, when I haven't been sick. I refer to it as a "mental health day off of work". On those occasions, I can read, watch TV, etc. I enjoy the relaxation aspect.

Knit and watch old Buffy DVDs. Unless my girlfriend is around. Then I knit, watch old Buffy DVDs and whine a lot. It's pretty hot.
