Soooo, crazy cute girl in my physics recitation. She looks at me for a few seconds...smiles. I look back for a couple seconds...send back an awkward smile.
And that's been happening for about two classes now.
I'm sure she'd go out with me if I ask, but I don't know how to do it that wouldn't make me look like an idiot.
What should I do?

I would just ask her if she wanted to go out sometime. I've had a pretty good track record with that one.

Give her the URL of this note. Chicks dig URLs. Or so I think...
Not much advice in this area except "do the damn thing". But I'm bad at giving advice - someone better will surely come along to give you some tips.

I would walk right up to her after class and introduce yourself. The attraction is obviously there, so it's possible that she's thinking the same thing that you are.

It's just two stares. Add one more and you can strike up a conversation with her. Nothing to be awkward about. Making fun of it is a great way to break the ice. :)

I'm with JPhil too.
There are no rules.
If your recitation is in the evening like most of mine were then it's a good time to go out for a quick cup of coffee or tea to start.

I agree with jPhill's advice. Introduce yourself, ask her where she's from, etc. Take it slow...

just roll up to her, all smooth stylee and purr; "Hey baby, let's get this going" then turn, look over your shoulder, wink and walk away, she will follow, oh yes she will.

Those have to be some of the funniest comments I've ever read.
I think James' suggestion is the coolest, but I don't know if I can pull that off. I think I'll go with Kamigoroshi on this one.
My next class is Friday so I'll let you guys know what happened.
Thanks!

The thing you have in common right away is the class, so the first connection is about studying together or missing notes etc. Going for coffee after class, to start with one of these excuses seems normal enough. Then you can check out whether the chemistry is still there. This is the sloooow way but allows brain time to catch up with feelings.

Well, turned out I didn't have to do anything. She 'poked' me on Facebook a couple days ago and then came up to me after class.
I introduced myself and suggested we grab some coffee, so we hit the campus Starbucks and talked for a little while. I'm taking her out to dinner next week...
What can I say, the girl knows what she wants :D

Unless she's a control freak of an obsessive level, don't let women like this go. My girlfriend is one. Glad to have a girl that knows what she wants and does what it takes to get it.

Girls are human just like guys. She was probably thinking the same things you were.
