Ok fellas (and ladies??) where do you hide your computer porn??
Does it get left in the open or do you become Batman when it comes to hiding it? Are you doing daily clears of your browser history or is your significant other cool with it??
C'mon let's hear it!

why so candid? No one uses my laptop but me. No one.

I do not think that everyone views computer porn.
Sad for you who have to.

Sorted in folders by type (Straight, Gay, BDSM, Amateur, etc.), star (if appropriate), source and quality. I've about 30gb organised fairly efficiently.
Just kidding.
I honestly don't get much from porn. (And I'm not sure how 9rules this topic is, so you may find yourself moderated shortly. Just a heads up.) But what little porn I do have isn't hidden at all - no one but me uses this PC, so there's no need.
And as for the porn I do have, 90% of it is just pictures and videos left over from past girlfriends (the one type of porn I do enjoy). I don't know if that's creepy or whatever, but I've had some freakin' hot girlfriends that I don't want to forget. (And they all know I have it, and no, I don't share it.)
Ahem.
I am a decent human being.

I don't have any. I would feel perverse and wrong storing it on my Mac anyway.

Mmmm... computer porn.
Nothing like seeing an Albatron Mobo getting it on with four memory sticks at once. Awwwww yeeeeaaahhh. Overclock that baby and you won't believe the action.
Me, I like me my DVD+-Rs. Yeah, I swing that way, especially when they go for the southbridge fun, and even more so when the MiniCDs join in on the fun (I call 'em spinners).
There's this one site out here -- check out the name -- TigerDirect. Bow chika bow wow! They have EVERYTHING there, from the youngest Viivs to the P1's for those of you who swing that way. (I like mine young and fast, thank you, but there's something to be said for taking your time with an older model).
Now, for some real amateur fun, check out Lin Ux. She takes some getting used to (a bit novel with stuff, if you get my drift), but you should see what she can do with a nice FSB. She's more into the soft side. Very multicultural, though.
As you can guess, I also digg the soft stuff, but nothing like seeing it hard and fast.

You are all not kidding are you?
I see they decided they can't have porn on 9 rules so they would let the porn freaks freak it up in notes.
Gnorb: I almost looked it up your links until I saw the word Linux.
maybe if dook got out more he wouldn't have to have so much porn on his computer.

I don't have any porn on my computer. I'm pretty sure that Sam doesn't have any saved. He just makes sure that he has an internet connection when I'm gone for the weekend.
I was going to write more about this. Then I realized it would be a better blog entry instead.

I have all mine on a separate external hard drive. Can't have Mom coming over and clicking over to find all my smut filtered out by studio, file format and freshness.
Again.

My obsession with porn is strictly sociological. Don't believe me? Shoot me an email and I'll send you attachments with essay's I've written throughout college on the subject.
Also, loose the faux-taboo comments. They smell bad.

I laugh at all of you.
My porn is in a networked folder at home F:/Porn
The gf has full access to it and contributes from time to time. I've not hid porn since I was like 15 (or since we started going out).

@Cooper: If you don't like the content of this note, just ignore it. To be honest, I'm much more offended by your judgment of others than by their proclivity for porn. Didn't mama ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?

Because I just can't help myself ,and no I was never taught that. I was taught to say what I think unless it will do harm to others. I doubt that my opinion is a dagger in the heart of too many people.
Now, if the note said "if you don't support pornography don't comment" I would have abstained.

Because I can't help myself...cooper you don't know how your words will effect others...do you?
When I read a note and see my users and members insulted unnecessarily, I get irked. Then I get pissed off. This is a community. Some notes will be interesting, some won't. That's the way it is. Intentionally belittling, insulting and offending each other doesn't fly here...no matter what one was taught.
Back on topic...I don't have any on my computer because I honestly haven't seen any worth keeping. Porn is made for guys and the men in porn...well...they aren't that hot. Exception: gay porn. Wow, some serious hotties there.
I guess I'm kind of picky when it comes to picking porn.

"Because I can't help myself...cooper you don't know how your words will effect others...do you?"
What is offensive is starvation, poverty lack of potable water. Words are hardly ever offensive unless they denigrate someone. Calling someone sad for viewing porn is an opinion and hardly offensive.
If people are offended by someone telling them they are sad for viewing porn, then they need to get a life. They are obviously spending too much time viewing it on their computer.
Pornography denigrates women and it offends me and I don't care who knows it.
You may want to make a disclaimer that opinions are ok as long as everyone is saying oh yea I agree with you. Certain topics are going to hit a button with me.
Pornography is so much more offensive than words could ever be.
It will make for good blog fodder though.

Except for the fact that in THIS community, there are people that have porn on their hard drives that don't have women in it. So you made an assumption, and insulted people that don't even apply to your assumption.
How dare you tell someone if they need to get a life. How dare you judge people you don't know, have no idea what their situations are.
So let me make this very clear: this is a friendly community. We don't insult each other. I don't care if you don't like it. If you can't abide by that then this isn't the community for you.

You’re absolutely right it is not the place for me, but it was fun while I lasted.
I do have to apologize to Dook, as I admit I didn't even realize I wrote that and if that is what you were referring to you were absolutely right it was offensive, and for that I do apologize.

Yeah, tell me about it but as you can see, being asking nicely doesn't seem to get the point across. My only other option is to ban (and I really don't want to do that) but I can't have people crossing the line and expecting it to be ok on 9rules. It's not - there is a way to disagree. I don't think people realize people complain and this time, it went straight to text messages to the cell phone. On a Saturday.
my.9rules members have the right to live their lives the way they want because they solely are responsible for their actions. I read things every day I don't agree with but it's not my right to throw my morality at people, chastise them for the wrongs I feel they are doing.

I'm not sure what's happening in this thread that's making people use the "ban" word. There was nothing outright offensive about what Cooper said.. At least not enough for anybody to get upset about.
Downloading petabytes of porn is a choice. It's not like teasing somebody because they're gay or black. She's just giving her opinion on somebody's choice...
Furthermore, if you were to compare this thread against some of the other threads where both Alday and myself have been toe-to-toe, you'll see name-calling, eye-gouging and much, much more. There's nothing in this thread that comes close to touching that level of animosity.
And disciplining somebody in public is really cool.
If you think I'm missing the point, please PM me the excerpt that you think is truly horrific... The only bad thing I can see here at the moment is publicly threatening to excommunicate a member of the Notes community.

No porn... but that's because I depend on the boyfriend for all my needs ;) No, seriously, he's got a stack of DVD's that totally dwarf his non-porn collection. If I need something, I just borrow it from him
Besides, I'd rather watch it with him, if you know what I mean ;)

Odd! I was asked this question by an old girlfriend of mine. She didn't want her new boyfriend to find any of her porn collection (she has a vast collection of a rather.. interesting.. taste).
Anyway, I just told her to do what I used to do when I was younger - folder in a folder in a folder in a folder in a folder.
It just makes it that bit less easy to access to put people off methinks.
