Valentine's two years ago.

It was sunny that day. I drove 4 hours just to pick up the tickets, but I enjoyed it. I usually do, but this time it was special, I was getting two front row seats, she was going to love it.

Her brother was expecting me, he was to put the gift in her bed so she’d be surprised. They gave me a cute stuffed bear to go with the box I’d bought for the tickets. I took a shower and waited for the call.

She hung up only after telling me she loved me, I could hear the joy in her voice while she opened the box.

She was glowing, perfection is what I’d call it. I could not take my eyes off her on the way to the concert.

Our song was on, the lightning was just right, the music, she, everything was as I’d imagined it.

On our way back the world could have ended and we would have died in love. In perfect harmony.
