Oh yeah, I'm a big coffee drinker from way back. Usually I fix a pot for the wife and me in the morning, and we'll fill up to-go thermos with it, and I'll usually have another cup or two at work after getting through that. If I don't fix it at home, I'll drive through McDonald's for a large coffee to go with an egg McMuffin.
Don't laugh...McDonald's coffee is actually really good.
The only pizza you should eat with a knife and fork is Chicago-style deep-dish pizza.
I eat my pizza cold. :) Cold pizza, as corny as it sounds, is unreal...sprinkle a little salt on that bad boy and chow down.

I thought this was funny and so did several of my co-workers, so I thought I'd share it here. :)
I was calling a prospective student today to see if she had reviewed the material I sent her (I'm in Admissions for an online college), and I got her voicemail, which went like this:
"Hi, you've reached the voicemail of (edited name out), I'm not available. Please leave a message and may the Force be with you."
It went straight to the *BEEP* and I didn't get a chance to come up with anything other than what my usual message is, but had I been thinking on my feet or had a second or two to think about it, I might've said "Call me back you will." or "And also with you." But alas, I didn't.
So have you call anybody lately and been greeted with a strange or funny voicemail greeting? If so, were you clever and quick enough to leave a funny message in return?
I'm incredibly lucky as a husband...my wife's biggest joy of the Christmas season is gathering gifts for all our family and friends. So we talk about what we want to get for everyone and she goes to get the presents and wraps them.
I, of course, have to take care of the gifts I want to get her myself...but outside of that, I'm just the hired muscle. :)
So are you done shopping yet?!? Are going to brave the stores and outlet malls of America over the weekend to complete the gift buying??

Actually, here's what we did this weekend.
Friday night - Went to a Christmas party with friends.
Saturday - I worked while my wife finished up some Christmas shopping, then we went to a family Christmas gathering tonight.
Sunday - Tomorrow we're going to church then out to lunch and then going to see Eragon at the Rave, then going to another Christmas party at a bar downtown that some friends of ours own.
We're usually pretty busy most weekend...but even this weekend is an exception.
Nils, you remind me of that Star Wars guy...what's his name? You know, the Jedi dancing dude...that's funny. :)
I do dance, but not very well...and I hate admitting this, but I hate dancing with my wife when we're not slow dancing. Slow dancing, I can handle, but when booty music turns on, my wife tends to try and remake Dirty Dancing every single time, and well, I'm just not that into it...and she tends to be grabby in a not-sexy way...
Hard to explain unless you've had it happen to you. :)

I don't know exactly why it's called that...something about when my sister was little she named it that and it stuck...but there you go!

Well, here's how things work with my wife and I.
I cook all the meals.
I buy (almost) all the groceries.
I load and unload the dishwasher.
I wash all the clothes.
I straighten up the house.
She makes (almost) all the money.
And the sex ain't bad either...don't see me complaining... ;-)
If you want or see a future with this girl, I'd say play it out and see where it goes. I don't think either of you are ready to rush headlong into a serious relationship, so enjoy the togetherness for now and see where it leads. Enjoy each other's company, be there for each other, and have patience, Daniel'san. :)
