Exercise. My roommate and I have both made the decision to exercise more. We're both really busy and have weird schedules so we've been taking walks through our neighborhood.
We don't run or jog yet, just walk. It feels good and it gives us a chance to catch up with each other. Our neighborhood is nicely sliced up into blocks so we have a 1 mile, 1.5 mile and a 2 mile route to walk depending on how much time and energy we have.
This is the first time I've EVER stuck with any sort of exercise plan. Make it fun. Make it simple and make it something enjoyable. Long walks in a park or around where you live are perfect and it'll give you time to talk and be together as well.
Never a bad thing. :)
My easygoing nature. Like water off a duck's back, drama rolls into the river and downstream in my life.
I was the tallest person in my school from 1st grade until 9th. And even then, it took my 6'8" math teacher to beat me out for tallest person.
I remained the tallest student. I was literally a head and shoulder above every kid in my school all through elementary school.
Don't worry though, I topped out at 6'5" and am the BFG. (And no, that has nothing to do with a gun, go read Roald Dahl!)
3 points? ;-)
Well, my girlfriend will be 200 miles away at school so I am going to go to work (super lame) then go see V.A.S.T. that night with a friend up in Northern Virginia.
Should be a great time. I wish it was my girlfriend I was going with, but another friend will have to do.
Presently it's.... silenced 95% of the time. But the few moments when it's allowed to ring it is Capital G by Nine Inch Nails.

Declutter!
Lately it's been a glass of cider, Sigur Ros on the laptop singing quietly away and a fan blowing on low has put me right out.
Merry Christmas!
Happy Holidays!
Happy New Year! (almost) ;-)
They have news? On the picture box?
I stopped watching TV news years ago. I don't really get proper news from anywhere. I just don't care to have my daily ration of violence, death, murder, depression and anger.
I can get all of those myself in various forms if I see fit. So I don't watch the news. Anywhere. Ever.
Canon Powershot SD1000 to replace my aged camera that went for a swim over Thanksgiving. :)
As if I wasn't hungry before, now I am really hungry! :P
This looks really good though. Perhaps I'll try it (and try not to burn down my kitchen).
Yeah, every year it's child X does thing Y and parent is now selling game/toy/hot christmas item Z.
In fact, next year I should do that to raise money for me. It'd be a great marketing plot. ;) Or not...
Usually in December all the full-timers where I've worked are all taking their non-rollover vacations. So while I am stuck at work, there is no one else here. So nothing to support and nothing much to do besides the random odds-and-ends projects that I've been either putting off or too busy to do.
It's kinda nice. Although, working in IT Support, there's no defined fast or slow time. There's a lot of both and it tends to come at a moment's notice. Such as, when the server team pushes out a java update that breaks compatibility with the timesheet web site so you spend your entire day going around to 45 different PCs to rollback the update.
Catch mouse.
Show mouse entryway to annoying neighbors house.
Sit smugly in my mouse-free house while knowing I've mad the world a little brighter. *evil grin*
Funny, I left Wachovia for much the same reasons you mentioned to go to Bank of America. From what I've heard, you're not going to find good customer service at a national bank. Period.
I swear they all use the same crappy call centers. I'm just thankful I can understand the people on the other end.
As Scrivs said, they're like cell phone companies. You pick the least evil one and hope for the best.

My stepmom and I are the only ones who like legs.
So we each get a leg.
mmmmmm legs.

Bananas splits. Root Beer floats. Fruit parfaits. Fresh fruit. (Hey, you just said desserts, not desserts that would keep well) :)
I love some dark chocolate.
The more the merrier.
@Cas
@peroty - but did you fall in love with her at first communication? All the talking to her before you finally met probably had more than a little bit to do with it.
"All the talking" was about 8 hours of IMing. And yes, from the first time we started talking I was already falling for her. Meeting her in real life, less than 48 hours before we first communicated, was just the nail in the coffin, so to speak. I loved her and wanted her to be mine from word 1.
I have to say yes. The girl I have now been dating for 3 months I fell madly in love with the first time I met her. We talked online for hours before we first met. And when we were finally together, I knew this was the girl I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. :)
I am more and more interesting with connecting with other people. I really enjoy the "personal bloggers" and getting to see tiny bits of their lives through their posts.
I enjoy technology posts too but there's a lot of overlap within the industry. If you read one post on a tech announcement or new apple product, you read them all.
I used to be really into tech and lapped it all up like a waiting kitten. However, I much prefer to connect with people and I don't mean the worthless "social network" connection with people.
I find social networks to be polarizing. It seems like more often than not, the "social" aspect of the networks are things like stupid widgets and silly games. I'd much prefer a conversation or full posts by the people versus an online quiz, what storybook character I am, or how many people you've turned into a vampire/werewolf/zombie/chicken.
Do you text more than you talk?
I do. But only because I hate the phone and much prefer in person conversations.
Do you email instead of call?
Yes, email is perfect for non vital asynchronous communications. Phones are reserved for vital, important-to-me-now communications.
Do you chat with your fingers instead of your mouth?
When I have to. Though I totally prefer face-to-face meeting.
My communications preference goes like this:
Faith in yourself. I know I have skills. I've worked in a ton of different areas and have been involved with some really cool things. I just lack faith in myself. I think my work sucks and it discourages me.
I need to have more faith so I can be more motivated to work hard and take pride in what I make. But that's me.
Cartoon bunnies could be anyone. ;)
Halloween totally snuck up on me this year. No one I knew was partying and I'm a bit old to trick or treat. We didn't even have a single trick or treater at our apartment! Kinda disappointing... so I ended up hanging out with the roommate, then playing Halo 3 late into the night. :)
I'm not so sure about your moth watering dishes. Though if someone can provide a good moth-based recipe, they might be rewarded. :)
Update your will first!
And take detailed photos!
This makes me want to try it too. :)
You're not crazy! I know exactly how you feel. The everything feels new parts is totally how Annie and I are, though it's only been a couple months.
Go for it! :D I am so happy for you. :D
I am watching 18GB of data move across a USB 1.1 connection to an external hard drive. Then I get to move it all back across at USB 2.0 speeds to a new laptop I am setting up for a customer.
Then I get to make a 45 minute round trip drive to drop the hard drive off and install software and hardware.
But then, THEN I get to drive 3.5 hours to see my love at her place for the weekend.
The rest of the weekend is censored. ;)

Annie - she has given my life meaning I never knew it could have and the support and love I never knew I could find in a relationship.
Megan - the best friend and roommate I could have ever asked for. She's been a constant source of humor, hugs, baked goods, ears for listening.
ipod - I listen to music constantly.
macbook - uptime of 26 days and I continue to pound away on it and it's still rock solid.
