If there was only two days before payday, I would try not to spend it at all! If my cupboards were bare I'd buy a loaf of bread and just live off sandwiches for two days!

I cut down my transport bill massively by buying a bike and would recommend it to anyone! The money I've saved on travel has well and truly covered the cost of my bike... plus I just canceled my gym membership yesterday as I really don't need it either now so I'm really looking forward to that extra 40 quid a month!

After giving this further thought, I don't think I'd need to spend the $10. I've already paid my yearly work transportation costs, and I have enough random crap in my cupboards that surely I could make it two days. I might be eating Malt-O-Meal or enchilada sauce for every meal, but I would still be eating.

So, I guess I would save it and hopefully have $20 at the end of the next pay period.

I use the word win losely, as a poke at my wife. Marriage makes things more fluid. It's nice that way. My money maybe and I'd share my money. I wouldn't get Peanut Butter. She wouldn't get lettuce. We'd probably stuff down a couple Quiznos subs. Win-win or something like that. Though mingling with the underground in a coffee house seems like the more fun option.

I don't know where Mike lives, but I want to live in a place where $10 gets you jerky, lots of gatorade, and a ride on the go karts. Here in Phoenix, you could pick one of those and you might be able to get it for $10 LOL

As for me, I always plan ahead and have plenty of food, so I would probably spend it at the coffee house mingling with the underground of Phoenix!
