So what does everyone have going on this weekend? I got nothing planned but the usual. Hitting the club, dancing, drinking and flirting with women that probably don't want me flirting with them. Definitely not going to see any movies this weekend.

Tonight: I game with a trio of friends on Xbox 360. Probably some Perfect Dark Zero, Crackdown, Saints Row, or who knows that. But gaming, and shooting of things!

Saturday: Sleeeeeeeep in, watch a movie or two, chill. Concert at night My Chemical Romance / Muse (still not quite sure how I got talked into this one...?) Mainly to provide a shield for a friend who is going who may be squished I think. :)

Sunday: Laundry, clean, shopping possibly. Probably some Xbox Live time.

(And of course, stalk 9Rules Notes) ;-)

Tonight DJ A-Trak is playing an event sponsored by Camel. I have a ticket, but I don't know if I want to go. There are free drinks but I hate paying for parking and I hadn't heard of the guy until someone gave me the ticket.

Tomorrow day: Cleaning and laundry + NFL Draft. Gotta see where my boy Jamarcus goes and who the Saints pick up.

Tomorrow night we have a friend in town to deejay at some new club, so we're going to check that out.

Sunday: More cleaning and Draft-watching. Maybe we'll go see the ATHF movie.

At some point this weekend I need to open a gym membership too.

Early night tonight. Tomorrow Go Ape which should be a laugh (been a number of times before).

Have some work to do helping out with a mountain biking forum on Saturday afternoon, but on Sunday I'm looking to get a big walk in - I'm trying to build up my distances ready for doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks later in the year.

Heading to Tampa to hang out with a few friends and visit the family. Doing laundry, watching the draft, reading (the autobiography of Gandhi, as per Pelf's enthusiastic recommendation) and writing fiction.

I'm planning on sleeping through most of the weekend, recovering from what has been the week from hell. And not a fun hell either. A really nasty hell.

When not sleeping, I expect there will be some drinking and dancing at some favoured clubs on Saturday to celebrate the confirmation of a friend's brilliant MSc. Sunday, if the weather holds, I expect I will be found lazing on the Common with people, recovering from Saturday and generally having fun.

The usual.

Tonight I'm going to see a word orgy put on by a drama department at of one of the schools here, my roommate is a drama major and I promised her I would, then come back and sleep. I was up too early this morning to help for a rainy mess strawberry festival.

I've got to start packing up everything here, no bars for me until I graduate.

A poetry jam late Saturday around midnight, that's the only planned events except finishing up all my work.

I'm leaving for Cancun tomorrow for a week! Can't wait, I definitely need a vacation.

I'm going to hear the Dalai Lama speak on Sunday in San Francisco. Before that? It's beautiful here in the Bay Area right now, so a long hike on Saturday.

I like hearing about weekend plans -- mine's about to start in about thirty minutes.

L.A. Times Festival of Books on my alma mater's campus.

Tequila tasting at El Carmen, a tequila bar on 6th. It lasts 3 hours and comes with a T-shirt with advance admission ($25). A dozen tequilas and appetizers!

Beach volleyball in Manhattan Beach.

Guitar Hero in between. Trying to get at least 4 stars on Hangar 18 (expert).

Sadly my weekend won't be too exciting. I'll be starting a report on domestic care arrangements.

*Yawn*

I'm sounding more and more like my introvered, shut-in self compared to all you nice people. Maybe I'll hit the park this weekend if the weather is nice.

Let's see...tonight I'm partying it up with my family. I'm not really sure what the occasion is. I'm pretty sure the next big thing isn't until Cinco de Mayo, as that happens to be my parents anniversary. But, there's going to be beer and wine, so I'm there.

Saturday is the NFL draft, so I'll be keeping tabs on that and then Saturday night I might go and see a movie, but the friend that I'm going with is kind of flaky, so that might not happen.

Sunday I'm going to be working in the garden all day. The weather here hasn't been cooperating the past few days and Sunday is supposed to be a nice day.

Friday: Booze night.
Saturday: NFL Draft [Day 1]
Sunday: NFL Draft [Day 2]

Well, my Friday night is winding down really, after I spent most of the day and evening moving my computer desk (and all it's pieces and parts and equipment) down two levels from the second floor to our basement room. The rest of the weekend we'll be moving everything else (huge and surprising amounts of stuff, actually) from my studio/office to the basement, so that my oldest daughter has a bigger room in my former office, and my youngest has some privacy and relief from the oldest.

Their "rooms" on the third floor are actually kind of one big room divided by a hallway only, with a bathroom in between but no doors, which was fine when they were 3 and 8, but doesn't cut it now that they're 10 and 15. Lots of work and trips up and down stairs for all and sundry. My body hurts already...

edit: anybody in the area want to come help???

@dreamweaver
If you pay for my plane ticket. :D
I'll pay you back in points. :D

Tonight: Drinks & dancing at a new club with the boyfriend and some friends.

Tomorrow: Errands, a business meeting, then random acts of laziness with the aforementioned boyfriend that will include food, cheesy movies, and a bed.

Sunday: Picnic and bird watching at a park, probably dinner with some friends. Fretting about the Monday to come.

Tonight: Nearly over so heading to bed soon and early as long day tomorrow.

Saturday: Mate's wedding so going to that which should be good and an all day event so up early and late to bed.

Sunday: Picking up dogs as been in kennels so will recharge with a dog walk. Potential work needs to also be done on Sunday but least I get Saturday off for wedding.

Currently realising how quiet our house is without dogs and not liking it.

Well it's been determined that my schedule is wide open tonight, so I'm planning dinner and a movie, the solo addition.

Should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it.

Aside from lame house chores, I've got to write a 6+ page research paper for my American Lit class that's due on Monday.

It's only been assigned all semester, and of course I haven't started it yet.

@lisa: If your research paper is due on Monday, you're fine.

The life of a college student, waiting till the last minute and currently you have 3 days... that's not last minute... hehe... I know, I use to be a college student.

To me last minute is working on the paper as you're walking out the door for class.

I wish I was going to Cancun, but the more likely path is to the garden. We need to till the bugger and plant. I'll probably be with dook, in spirt, watching the draft on Saturday, usually skip out after the Giants have made their pick.

I haven't watched any movies for two months. I went into a Movie Gallery recently and saw around fifteen I want to watch so there's a strong pull to plunk down for eight of them and spend a day wrapped in a blanket, stuffing junk food in my mouth, watching flicks. Could end up going to see Fracture this weekend.

In a nutshell, no firm plans, which is how I like it.

Tonight: I was going to go out for a minute but I decided to invite someone in since I'm a tad tired from being up most of the night.

Tomorrow: I received an invite from a restaurant so I'll check them out, then we're going bowling/pool/arcade (ie: something fun)

Sunday: I'm entertaining at home briefly then I'd like to have a quiet night, perhaps catch up on some reading.

On Saturday I am going to a local lake, to do some hiking and also take some photographs.

I am eating dinner out, Saturday night, at my favorite Fine Italiano Ristorante.

On Sunday I will be working in my garden, as it needs tending. For me it is a form of relaxation.

My life sounds so ordinary compared to everyones! I want to get my gardens in order for early spring and prepare my monthly Care Package for my son, which involves a lot of baking.

Banana nut bread please! :)

In an hour I'll turn 18! :)

Happy Birthday Frits!!!

Happy Birthday, Frits!

Auburn, that is really sweet. I'm sure your son appreciates it more than you know! I remember how much I would *love* care packages (in college--not sure about your son).

Just came back from the local city-sponsored e-recycling drive. We dropped off two monitors, two towers and some motherboards.

@Mike: I also like banana nut bread, so if your mom is game, I'd like some too.

I really like it warm with a little butter on it.... yum-o!

Oh yes, butter, please. Thanks.

and a glass of milk. mmmmmmmmm.

Two percent.

Happy birthday, frits!

Auburn: You are so sweet to make the care package. It's a true sign of motherly love, and I know it is appreciated.

I remember making care packages for my son when he was in the military, and stationed in Japan. Now when I send them, I include goodies for my grandson and for my daughter-in-law.

I am having the best weekend ever. I'm in Brighton with my womanfriend.

I bought a book that I can't wait to read, too.

Happy birthday frits!

*Tyme makes the note not to try to plan a weekend because that obviously doesn't work lol.

Yesterday I attended an open search workshop but because the weather has been ridiculously wonderful lately we broke up early and went for a drink in the sun. We moved from the terrace to a lovely garden and barbecued, drank some beers, listened to music and talked until late.

Today I worked on my thesis and blog a bit and tonight I am going out dancing with friends. It's Queen's day here tomorrow so we have a long weekend and there are tons of parties tonight and tomorrow.

I am not sure where or how I will spend Queen's day tomorrow since it's always a big chaos in Amsterdam as the whole country seems to want to be here. I am hoping to escape the chaos downtown but as long as I am with my friends it's fine :)

It looks like summer, it feels like summer, the weekend is great and it's not even over yet!
