Well Mother's Day is Sunday so I will head over to the rents place and chill for a bit. Tonight I am going to a birthday thing for a bit and who knows what else. Nothing fancy, but always fun. Hit us up with your plans, plain, boring, exciting, or simply unnatural.

Probably just playing some video games (ok just Halo) tonight, then some friends are having a bbq tomorrow, so that will take up the whole day and night.

Since my mom is Chicago and I'm in Michigan, I won't be seeing her on Sunday so a phone call will have to do. Might finally see Spiderman 3 too.

Might try and go to Home Depot but I don't know if I'll have enough time. :)

My mom, who's 2k miles away, got her bouquet already. So I'll be celebrating Mom's day with the bf and his.

Restaurant-bar tonight and some rock show in a warehouse in downtown. Helping my roommate move tomorrow before a birthday dinner. Planning a baby shower in between. :)

Working on more client work. Mom's several hours away, so she's getting flowers :)

Mostly preparing for my vacation (NEXT weekend)

Playing some Halo for sure. (the new maps rock) Probably just going to chill most of the time. Also, I'm going to start work on a community site that I haven't been contracted to build yet.

Also, I gotta get something for the wife for moms day.

Driving up to Chico to look at housing options for fall (w00t i'm getting a condo), and on Sunday over to my grandma's for lunch/dinner.

Possibly watching my son being born. :-)

Otherwise just some client work and watching the Spurs beat (hopefully) the Suns.

As I've been painting my apartment for two days I think sleep tonight and the feeding of the help.
Tomorrow much of the same plus shopping for some "big people I got a real job now" clothing.

My parents are coming down so Sunday I will take my mother to lunch and we'll spend the afternoon together.

Drove down to the beach tonight to surprise my mom in the morning.
Going to hang out with her and the family tomorrow.
Depending on the (probably stormy) weather, we'll either hit the Marine Science Museum (basically a big aquarium with tons of interactive things for kids big and small), and see Delta Farce. We're Larry fans from his calling-into-98-Rock-days. When we envisioned him as a 70 year old farmer.
Going to treat mom to dinner tomorrow night (since we'd kill her with our cooking).
Sunday is just another chill out day. All depends on the weather. May hit the beach. Drive home that night to return to reality Monday.

Going home for the weekend to see my best friend from highschool and my mom and aunt for Mother's Day. In between I need to read two books for a uni course. I love reading on the train but I often fall asleep :)

Sat: Cleaning and preparing for Ness to stay here.

Sun: Being nervous awaiting for Ness to come. She's driving here from Cleveland after work on Sunday. She's meeting my family.

We're British so Mum got her day a few months back.

For me, the Saturday consists of working on the Never Ending Quilt, popping into town to buy a coffee grinder for my brother's birthday, doing inordinate amounts of laundry, and staying in this evening with some of our friends, wine, pizza, and the Eurovision Song Contest - oh the cheesy hilarity!

Sunday will mostly be taken up with entertaining my brother who is down South for the day on a boat buying trip and celebrating his birthday.

This will all of course be interspersed with lots of sleeping, watching TV (only two episodes of SG1: season 1 to go!), eating crap and drinking tea. Mmmmm.

I am loving and hating my garden's weeds, buying tomato plants to sit on the sunny porch for two weeks before they really hit the dirt, making a two-layered cake for my Mom when I drive 12 miles to her home, doing oodles of laundry and dreaming of the contractor's plans at remodeling to start soon. And waiting, waiting, waiting for my son to call (hint hint)

I've been planting today and doing yard work. I had dinner out.

I spoke with my daughter yesterday, and know that she will call me bright and early in the morning to wish me a Happy Mother's Day.

I will wait for my two sons to call me, at whatever times are convenient for them, according to their time zones (yes, hint, hint, to the one who is a 9rules member). In between I will read a book, maybe do some more gardening, read the Sunday paper, and if my son's call me early enough, I will then go to an arthouse film, and whatever else the day brings.

I will light a candle for my Mom, on Mother's Day. I will think of her, remembering fond memories.

I will do the same for my Dad (his birthday would have been Sunday).
