Just this past week I turned another year old and eclipsed the quarter century mark. I shared this day with two other co-workers who turned 30 and 45 respectively. It got me thinking if you could pick any age and stay there for the rest of your life, what age would you pick?

25, the perfect middle ground it seems. Of course I am only 26 so 30 might be where it's at.

If EVERYTHING stayed the same, probably 5. 16 if I also got to keep the wisdom of years. Otherwise, right now is pretty nice. It'll be nice tomorrow, too.

The age I am now, which is 28. Next year my answer will probably change to 29. ;) But 28 is pretty peachy for now...

Whatever age I'm at when I am asked the questin, that is really my most favorite age. I'm completely serious, not at all sappy in intent.

30 should be the perfect age. You got (some) wisdom and you're not too old yet.
But hey, any age is the perfect age seeing you know what you want in life and thus exactly what to do when things come by.

I'd say 25 is the perfect age... at least in the US for a couple of reasons.
1. You've been 21 a couple years, so you shouldn't be an asshat anymore :)
2. At 25, car insurance goes down.
But now that I'm in my 30's, it's not bad being 30 something either.
A little older, hopefully more wiser and still having a good time with friends and family.

5...6... your biggest problem in the world is who has my red crayon? :)

Go figure, just when I thought peroty was done with the "me too" comments... he can't find his red crayon :)

I always thought that mid-30's would be fun. Hopefully by then I am finally settled in life. No financial worries, wife, kids and everything is stable and secure at this point in time. I am old enough to get respect from the world and still young and healthy enough to play golf without a cart :-)

I am only 19 now, but feel like the next 6 years (college) will be the best of my life. At least the one's of which I will think I achieved the most in.

The perfect age will be 43, which will be the year my oldest child turns 18 and goes off to college (hopefully). Can you tell I'm having a bad teenager day? Actually, bad teenager decade would be more precise...
Really though, if I had to choose an age, it would be 24. Old enough to not be too much of an idiot (if you were one to begin with), and to know yourself fairly well, or at least be going down that road.

LMAO I laughed so hard reading that!
Perfect age? I wouldn't want to go back to the 20s again for anything. OMG, that's where life was tough learning all life's lessons. I don't want to grow up again and I don't want to stay a kid. So the prime age would be when I was financially independent, had a stable life, etc. Definitely 30+.
If I could go back with the knowledge and stability? Haha, yeah, then it's on!

LOL @ dreamweaver! We have our moments, don't we, some days more than the other!
Whatever age I am, that is the perfect age. I try to live each day as best I can.

i dunno... i've liked every age i've been. it's easier to list of years i wouldn't want to repeat than pick a year that would be awesome.
and for the record, 4 would be awesome. you can talk, you get to eat kid's food all the time, and no school at all. and since i could read at 4, i still get to have my books :)

I'm convinced that there is no "perfect" age. Every year has its pluses and minuses. Sometimes I think I'd kill to be young again, but then I remember all the bossy big kids and parents' rules I'd have to follow. Being in your teens isn't much fun because you're grumpy half the time and being told what to do (even though you *know* you don't need your parents to do that anymore) the other half. As for your twenties... well, I'm only partially through them, but they've had their fair share of ups and downs. Honestly, I don't think I'd care to repeat any year of my life, which is my indication that if there is a perfect age, I haven't hit it yet.

For me, I would call it the perfect ages because it's not one but all the multiples of 9.
Like 9, 18, 27, 36, ......
The multiple of 9 age has always been special for me. More enlightening, more rewarding.....

Perfect age? However old I am 'tomorrow' as it means I am still alive and have another day to look forward to!

For me the perfect age is 59. That's what I am now and just retired a week ago from the stress of restaurant management. Now I can do whatever I want, whenever I want. It is great! I retired early while I am still healthy and can do what I want, which is golf, play tennis, and play with my two young grandsons. Life is great. I figure I have 7 years of fun before I would have reached full retirement age and who knows what 7 more years of work would have done to me. What could be better than 7 more years of fun!

The perfect age? Whatever you are on the the day before you die. That's when you've done all the things you're going to do, learnt all the things you're going to learn.

I couldn't have said it any better than birdy.
What age? The age I am today, because yesterday's history, tomorrow's a mystery, and today is a gift.

I used to be told by my mom that the perfect age of me to her was when I was just about to learn to talk, but not capable enough to talk back. But I bet now she enjoys (nearly) every discussion we have.
I used to think a perfect age is 5, before all the competition starts in school and etc. But now I have to admit I loved every age I have had, enjoy the one I am having and look forward to those I will have...
