If you do all the Webstandard-Stuff ( (X)HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Dom etc. ) in consideration of Usability and Accessibility. There exist a lot of descriptions for this field of activity and everybody is getting his own title, but how do you call this job title?

It really all depends on what your area of specialization is. I've seen a lot of job titles for the same thing. It seems to be a toss up as to how different companies describe the same thing.

I think "Web Developer" does a good job of defining the job, while still being vague enough to include some odd things the title may include when specific to you.

I say "Web Developer", since both graphic design and programming seem to fit into that category. As Jack said, it's a pretty broad term.

I tend to shy away from calling myself a Web Developer as it tends to get me in trouble with people that expect me to know JS, PHP etc...
I like WebDesigner as most people equate that with someone that can design websites.

My title is Web Specialist, and I do that kind of stuff. Made it hard to research pay scales...

At my full-time gig I'm officially a "Front-End Web Developer".
