What middle name would you recommend for the name Natalie? Love the name but girlfriend and I having difficult choosing a middle name that would flow with it. Any suggestions?

I could be crazy, but I'm pretty sure Mike and Jones don't rhyme. Nor do Jon and Doe, I think.

Why not pick a name that has significance in your family or circle of close friends, i.e. your/her mother/grandmother/etc.

I don't feel that the middle name is too important so this might be an opportune time to be creative or do something unexpected and unconventional.
When our son was born we let our daughter pick his middle name, Leaf.
Yes, spelled L E A F like the tree appendage. We thought it was a good name and a nice way to create a connection between the two kids. We also like it better than her other choices of Blueberry Carrot or Cookie Donut.
Middle names are seldom used so make it something meaningful.

Natalie Anne was the first thing that shot to my mind. Literally the first thing. But maybe Anne is too old-fashioned?
My mom always says that when deciding on a name, open your back door and yell the name 10 times as loud as you can. If you still like it after that, then you should go with it.

Oh, I'm with alisa... I love the sound of Natalie Anne. And, if congratulations are in order (perhaps I missed an earlier note?), then congrats, jorgeq!

A middle name should work well with both the given name and the surname.

A bit off topic, but this reminds me of this:
Barak Obama: I changed my name to Barak Hussein Obama. Really, my name was Hitler von Jewsarbad.
As for middle names, it's interesting you should post about this because, as silly as this sounds, it's something I run into when creating characters for stories: what to name them (and yes, middle names are often just as important as first names).
As for your situation, since the name Natalie refers to a birthday (specifically, that of Christ; think "Nativity"), perhaps you should look at something in that vein, something which will actually mean something in relation to the first. For example, Anastasia, which means "Resurrection". (Nastasia is a form of the same name.)
/Edit: I just realized that "Anastasia" could be shortened to "An" (Anne) or "Ana", which goes with what Alisa said.

Around here, everyone gets the middle name Marie. No matter what your middle name is ;)
But I do think Marie would work, but I'm also a big fan of the family route. Look at the first and middle names of your sisters, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc.
Someone will have a name that fits. Twice as good if it's a name that is consistantly passed down through the generations.

I dunno if Natalie Peace sounds quite right. It's kind of an esoteric middle name, Peace is.
What about something like Natalie Marie? Since Natalie's such a long name, you'll probably want to pick something short and sweet for the middle name, 1-2 syllables, which, I guess fits the bill of everything mentioned here :)

Louisa. Then each of her names has three syllables.
