That's actually a scary thought... knowing how others perceive you by the words you write.

This is very close to an exercise we did in high school. The teacher pointed to different stereotypes on the blackboard and polled the class by pointing to each, and counting the hands raised while you were up front, looking at the board only. Always interesting. hehe

Libertarian. That is, economically conservative yet socially liberal. As little interference as possible on all fronts. The opposite of populist. If I have read your blog correctly that's what I've surmised. I'm libertarian as well.

I think you're a mix of cocky, smart, and talented. I'd say the cocky sometimes gets in the way of the other two. This is based primarily on our two limited interactions, although, I'm pretty sure it's pretty close to accurate.

Ok that's scary you guys are so close based on what I write.
I guess that could say that I accomplish what I set out to do and that my message and my feelings get accurately portrayed in what I write.
I'd say the only "off" mark was the socialy liberal part.
So anyone else want to put their name up on the block and see what we think?

For fear of releasing the onslaught.... I'm throwing my neck onto the block here ;) So go on sum me up in your own words....

@karmatosed: In one word, I'd have to say you're respectful. You have your own opinions, but I've never seen you put down another's idea or be condescending. I've really respected (no pun intended) that about you.

karmatosed: Spunky (What I mean by that: considerate, kind-hearted and fair. You stand up for what you believe in and you stand up for yourself when needed. Hey, I couldn't think of another word).
RightOn: passionate (What I mean by that: when you are about something you try to make a change, stand up for what you believe in, support the people you love, etc.)
Ok, I'm feeling gutsy today (NOT!). What am I in a word?

Thanks all... It's fairly accurate. I am not that well organised offline but I do try to be. I think my husband may laugh about the thoughtful ;)
@Tyme: lol spunky I like it!
Tyme... hmmm hard one to get just one word. I'd have to go for spirited. You seem to have so much strength you give it out to others at times, also you seem resiliant and able to bounce back with your strength of spirit.

Thoughtful too but if we're going for one word ;)

@Tyme: In one word, Mum.
Don't be offended, but you seem very motherly, and I mean that with the greatest of respect. Kind, caring, understanding, patient. But also firm (but fair), you stand by what you say and the decisions you make. Much like how a mother is to her child.

Haha, you guys are dead on. There are offline people who sent me text messages saying the exact things you guys are saying. That makes me happy because it confirms I'm just being me - online and off lol.
Thank you! *blush

@Tyme: I missed the bandwagon, but I'd add that you're strong. In every post, you seem very confident, very assured, very knowing of who you are.
I'll go too, I suppose.

RightOn: I think you'd be a great friend. That's how I think of you. Very open, kind and willing to help others. But you are also very devout in what you believe in, which I think is another strength.
Tyme: Tyme is my Valentine, so I think the world of her. The way I think of Tyme is very cool, calm and collected. There are times when you get mad or worked up, but you don't act immediately. You think things through and then decide what to do. But you have a real warmth about you that makes people feel close to you (which can easily get you into trouble). :)
DreamWeaver: Totally creative. And I am jealous! I can see you being the kind of person who always keeps her hands busy, or has a new idea up her sleeve.

@ErinR: Thoughtful. You seem to think things through and also to be a bit of a ponderer - I like that in a person. You seem a giver not a taker.
@DreamWeaver: Useful: you seem like someone who can do a lot things and knows a lot about a range of things. I find your opinions and insights also useful - it's the best word but I couldn't think of a better sum up one.
@shadeofgray: Focused. you seem to stand by your thoughts in a way that makes people consider what they are thinking. You don't force them but stand by them and seem to have a pretty consistent opinion.

@Tyme--confident. You know what you want, and who you are. No nonsense, and protective come to mind as well. Protective of what's yours, and protective of others as well.
@Erin--thoughtful, considerate. You seem to look at all sides of an issue and think before expressing an opinion or deciding on a course. I can't disagree with what's been said by others!
@Ryan--caring and attentive is the impression I have of you, and cognizant of the blessings in life.

Of all the words about me (none of which were far off at all), Ryan had it spot on tonight: I had to duck out for a bit to keep my hands busy, doing some emergency hand sewing on a quilt that has to go in the mail tomorrow for a quilt show in the States in a couple of weeks!
@Karma--useful works! Although, I think I only know a little about a lot of things, but a ton about quilting... ;)
@Tyme, I do try to be fair, but I know I'm absolutely not as good at it as you. You and I are somewhat alike (judging from the other "word" thread), but while you're not ruled by emotions, I am more often than I'd like.
