Do you like your job?
If yes: What makes your job so good?
If no: What makes your job so bad?

I work at a city hall as a youth intern. I guess I like my job. It isn't that exciting, and there aren't many people that I can relate to, but it's okay. I get to read old police reports when I shred files. That's fun!

It's pretty good. Many of the things I spend my time doing are things I would do if I weren't getting paid - so to get a nice paycheck from it is real nice.
The people/environment are pretty neat, too. That plays a big part.

After more than two decades, I am proud and grateful to say I love my job. The reason why is that I really enjoy figuring out how huge systems (like Family Court, Probation, Child Protective, my district) work, how they can work better and especially how they can meet the needs of teenagers and their families. Since any relationship has parts that are not fun, I count some--not all--of the paperwork / documentation necessary as boring.

I play God and get paid.
I help save lives and make people happy.
I keep my promises and do what it takes to make a difference.
Yeah...I like my job. At least even if I'm interning in it. Nothing more satisfying than being in a career you love. Is it really work when you love every minute of it?

Definitely like my job because it's challenging and keeps me sharp. It also helps that there are tons of good looking women in my building. It doesn't sound like that much, but it really makes the day better. :)
Of course there are some politics that are annoying, but you can't really escape those.

I love a lot of things about my job, being an Architect is one of the most fun things I can imagine. A lot of it comes from a sense of influence and importance, that I'm designing spaces which people will use in -their- jobs every day, and how I design it can help them in what they're doing. Also public spaces just come with a good feeling attached to them. Not to mention it lets me draw a bit and express myself some while still being a very professional and business oriented job.
Like JPhill said, the building you work in can have some amazing perks too, especially if BethSoft is downstairs from you. :D (Game company that made Oblivion and many others)

I interned where I work now last fall, while doing independent study, so I was pretty familiar with it to begin with. I won't be doing it forever but for now I enjoy it. I work in DC more than half of the time but have the luxury of being able to work in the town I live in one or two days a week. Nice mix.
I can trip on over the the National Gallery of Art for lunch should I want to, which I often do. I work with a lot of people from different countries which I also enjoy so for now it's cool.

I do like it, but I could like it more. :)
I love the location, the industry, the rapport I have with clients. The knowledge is very practical and everyone basically has to deal with finance, taxes, and everything that's related. The direction in which I want to go would allow me to get more in depth with my knowledge, however.

Love it! SO much so that I actually almost jump out of bed in the morning to get started on my day.
Why? Because it allows me to interrelate with people day in and day out, live my personal mantra, and continue to learn and grow. What more could I ask for?
