If someone were to follow a typical day in your life, what would they most likely be surprised about? Would you want that person to "sample" your life by participating in the daily activities you to day to day? What would you hope-- if anything, the person would learn? Would you ask anything to be blocked or left out from your day for privacy? Or are you an open book?

Surprised? How, hmm...so much of my life comes out on ScrivsTyme...oh wait!
I've been called "anal" by some people <strike>Scrivs</strike> and it might seem that way online but offline I am very spontaneous but kind of shy.
What would I hope for them to learn? What you see is what you get.
Things left out? How much I dance around the house. Yeah.

I think they'd be impressed how much is packed into the day. I schedule everything (but only Tyme can be called anal). I'd hate people to know how much time I spend at StuffOnMyCat.com, though.

They might be surprised that the first thing I do when I wake up is turn on the computer which is only arm's length away - on the bed. Oh waot - did I just describe a lot of 9rulers??? :0)

@tanyapt: Nope, I just leave all my computers on all day. No need for all this "turn on" business.

Yeah, my computer sleeps when I sleep, but it's brain never truly shuts down. I think people would be surprised at the amount of times I blink. It's only like 3 or 4 times.

If I'm not working or going to work later, chances are that I'm at an appointment with my outpatient team or leaving for one. That whole thing alone is my non-paying "full-time" job.

I'd think they'd be suprised I get any work done with all that goes on and my ability to remove my puppy from my powerbook.

I would hope they'd learn that you can still find joy amidst the unexpected! So many people spend all their time trying to make their days predictable and comfortable ... don't be afraid of a little SPICE!!

I think people <b>wouldn't</b> be surprised at how boring my life really is.

I talk to my cats. In multiple languages. And they talk back.
(Give me a break; I live alone!)

I think people would be surprised to learn I do the finale dance from "Dirty Dancing" every morning with my partner as a way to energize myself.
Well, that or that I bit my nails.

Is anyone interested in doing a day in their life project? And post their results either via Flickr or their blog?
