My browser opens to my iGoogle page by default. But I've grown tired of it. What do you use as a start page?

At work, it's iGoogle.
At home, it's my Internet Provider's home page, cause I never remember my username and password for that...
P.S. I bookmarked 9rules. ;)

@hthth I hear ya, my MBP start page is set to about:blank and I styled it up using the Stylish extension.
But, at the desktop I like to get bombarded with a whole bunch of info all at once... iGoogle isn't bad, it's just kida boring.

I heart iGoogle. I think I got on the train later than most, though. Second page is Google Reader.

Google at work (I don't like iGoogle actually) and 9rules at home. I should set it to both though.

Hahaha, right on Public Energy.
I have iGoogle as my home page as well, but i never actually open up to that. I use Tab Mix Plus extension for Firefox, and it comes with a session restore capability. So when i open up FF, i generally have my gmail, digg, and one or two forum tabs open from the previous days.

It's been about:blank for as long as I've had my own PC (even before that, when I was using a shared PC, it was only Google). And it probably always will be.
I don't really see the point of having Netvibes or iGoogle load up every time you start your browser, much less a whole multitude of web properties. Granted, those are the sites that you either check on regularly, or aggregate all your important info (eg, iGoogle), but I have tab groups for that. A middle click on the "Regular" tab group on my bookmark bar (Camino, by the way) opens up all my "morning reads". That approach avoids 8 websites (/1 information and bandwidth heavy site) loading every time I start my browser. Which is much more than once a day.

I like to open up a bunch of tabs, Gmail, iGoogle, Harvest (cause I'm often working if I'm on the Internet), and Google Calendar.

I only see it when my browser completely crashes and I can't restore the session...which never happens, so I have no clue. Let me check...uh default Firefox it seems.

Google News Canada.
I don't watch TV, and I listen to a sports radio station.
Also, I can choose what kind of news I read, and skip the moronic news that TV news cover... if you know what I mean..

What's the appeal of about:blank? Beside the "performance" improvement..

Pretty much that, I thought... Why load a page if there is never a set place you start browsing from?

@ pelf
Do you mean to open tabs when you launch Firefox or do you mean so that you can just do casual browsing with multiple tabs and not multiple windows?

@CarsonClay: I've seen some people mention it above (default tabs), but I think it means having multiple tabs open every time I launch a new FF window. Is this possible? Am I getting this correctly? :)
