I drink coffee. I drink at least one a day. I drink coffee for the fake energy. It keeps me going for awhile, but then... I'll crash. That's not fun. But I also like coffee for it's various varieties and flavors. I drink Starbucks, but everyone around here loves Dunkin Donuts.

I drink like one large coffee a day. I've grown to like the taste quite a bit, though, the caffeine does nothing for me. Dunkin Donuts has great coffee! I stopped liking Starbucks quite a while ago.

Oh I envy you and your Dunkin Donuts.
Over here in the UK I have to drive many miles (well not many... but its >10 mins drive) to my nearest Starbucks!

I drink a 20oz. cup of Columbian Supremo from Quick Trip every morning.
a)It tastes good
b)It wakes me up so I'm not a TOTAL moron all day (am I RIGHT Ryan?)

Oh yeah, I'm a big coffee drinker from way back. Usually I fix a pot for the wife and me in the morning, and we'll fill up to-go thermos with it, and I'll usually have another cup or two at work after getting through that. If I don't fix it at home, I'll drive through McDonald's for a large coffee to go with an egg McMuffin.
Don't laugh...McDonald's coffee is actually really good.

To wake me up, and maybe because there's a slight addiction there *scratches arms*, I drink it every morning even when I don't need waking up on the weekends *chews inside of cheeks*, but I think it tastes good too.
mattplanet: Luck you, McDonald's coffee at every McDonald's I've visited and bought coffee (which is a fair few), tastes like old socks dipped in warm water (not that I know what that tastes like, but I'll take a lucky stab).

Yes, I drink a lot of coffee and by now, it's probably a habit because I don't drink beer or anything else. I use coffee like other people go out for a drink. McDonalds around here is just brown colored hot water. The only places that have decent coffee are diners because they usually are truck stops.

Starbucks is almost a county away (read long long drive) so I have home brews most of the time. There is one coffee shop about 15 mins in the town away that is half worth it but a long way to drive just for a coffee when I don't have a car most of the week.

Mmmm, coffee. I do enjoy an espresso in the morning. Wakes my mind up and makes me feel ready for the day ahead.

I drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day, sometimes more if I eat dinner out.
I have a combination expresso, latte, cappuccino maker, and if I want a special type of coffee I will make it in that.

We actually have a couple of coffee shops in our village, just no chain ones and one only opens for one day a week :P
The next town over there are quite a number of nice non-chain ones. :)

Only in the fall in and winter. Why? Because it gets darn cold here in Wisconsin at that time of year!

The aroma, the taste, the fact that it's awesome with chocolate, and well, it wakes me up on the rare occasions that I drink it (with lots of milk!)
Also, I can't stand tea :(

Coffee? Yeah. I love it, one might say I am addicted to it. Smell, Flavor, Taste. Caffeine is secondary.

I did once when I had to pull an all-nighter. Can't be sure if it worked directly or if I had convinced myself it worked, but either way it kept me up.

Coffee is my elixir of life. Not for the caffeine, which doesn't impact me even if I drink 10 cups, but for the aroma, the taste, the way it warms me up from the inside out. I love coffee.

I love my caffeine, however I need to start doing half-caf. Not sure how I feel about that one. Eh, it's like cheating. Either you take the caffeine or you don't. In my case, I'm smack in the middle.

I drink a mug while I do my morning routine at the office. I drink coffee because I like the taste, the caffeine doesn't wake me up or get me going or anything like that, it's for the taste. I don't like Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts coffee makes my teeth feel really weird (strange, I know). So I home brew and bring it to the office with me.

I guess I am in the minority here, I have never drank coffee. I do not like the taste. I have to be at work at 5:30AM most days and somehow manage on just a cup of tea. We have fresh Starbucks coffee available, but I will stick to my English Breakfast tea and then I switch to green tea.

I love coffee.
I usually drink 2-3 cups in the morning, and occasionally a cup with dessert if eating out. I like the aroma, the taste, and the hot drink just seems to get me going. I have been drinking coffee so long I am sure there is a mild addiction to the caffeine, but I don't get too whacked out if I miss a few mornings.
One problem with being a coffee nut is being picky about what you drink. I don't like weak, lukewarm, nasty coffee. I prefer just-brewed dark roast, like French. I have a coffee maker that grinds the beans fresh for each pot - well worth it.
I also enjoy espresso or espresso-based drinks, whether at a specialty coffee shop or at home.
There is also a social aspect to coffee. It is nice to sit and relax with a good cup of coffee and conversation with my friends and family.
