Mine are pretty simple.

  • Stay home.
  • Code.
  • Drink beer.
  • Code.
  • Watch football.
  • Code.
  • Eat.
  • Drink beer.
  • Code.
  • Sleep.

What do you have going on?

I think that's very similar to my plans, deadlines! Mine won't have the watching football bit.

My schedule this weekend seems real damn similar to yours Scrivs. Except maybe a little more watching football.

Football
Dishes
Laundry
Misc Cleaning
Bachelorette party Saturday night
Repeat steps 1-4

I should've added "read and post on 9rules obsessive-compulsively"

Let's see:

* I have to work a couple hours tomorrow, covering a shift for someone.
* The rest of the weekend: reading for class, studying for tests this upcoming week.

Exciting!

I might get in some gaming to give my brain the occasional break. Probably going to blog some as well.

Packing...

We're moving. YAY!

Fri: Halo. Saints Row. More Halo.
Sat: IKEA, help friend move, co-op Halo with friends.
Sun: SLEEEEEEP!

Oh yeah....I'm quite sure Halo will sneak into the schedule too!

Saturday:

  • write, write, and write some more.
  • read
  • go to friend's house to practice a few violin/piano duets, just for fun.
  • take my wife out on a date

Sunday:

  • take the dog out to doggie park
  • write, write, and write some more.
  • read

drink beer with friends , then meeting with girlfriend , and then you know what happens)))

FRIDAY
Sleep.
Post-processing pics from last Sunday's afterhour.
Do homework with the kids.
SATURDAY
Photo walk/drive up north with a friend.
Celebrate my mom's birthday.
SUNDAY
Piknic Electronik

I just want to sleep. This week was filled with 12 hour days at school filled with job searching, talking to recruiters, working on group projects and of course class.

Now it's time to rest.

I just got back from a LOOOONNGG quilt guild meeting (too damn long, did you get that part?), so my Friday night is now toast. Saturday: food shopping (blech), drawing quilting designs for my quilt in progress, coding, house cleaning (only because I must). Sunday is about the same as Saturday probably. Nothing much different than every day, really, except more quilting and less coding instead of the other way 'round. :)

Praying it will stop raining in Munich!

Today, I visited the Munich Neue Pinakothek (Modern Art Museum) and thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits. Particularly the Humanism in China photography exhibit and the Max Beckmann exhibit. Really amazing.

Tomorrow I'm planning on visiting Dachau Concentration Camp, rain or shine. Since it's my last full day in Munich and all. If weather permits, I want to do Mike's Bike Tour around the city but if not then I'll find another museum to visit. =\

Sunday, I'll be flying home to Los Angeles.

Um, estarla, did somebody forget to tell you that September/October is the iffy, sometimes mostly rainy season in Germany?? And, oh by the way, this year was completely weird anyway, what with having no summer at all to speak of. Museums are good though... :)

//going off to bed to listen to the rain here in Stuttgart...

Haha oh right. Well, rain or not, I came for Oktoberfest. ;)

I have no idea how I got back to my hotel Wednesday. I was at the Hofbraeu Tent and then the Paulaner tent with these other peeps from L.A. and these Aussies and then I think the Lowenbrau Tent and then ... I got separated from my traveling buddy. But I found him back at our room so thank god!! I think I did about 4 steins in about 5-6 hours... I'm a lightweight, btw.

Today, I found this guy at the S-bahn platform in lederhosen (obviously going home from Oktoberfest) and it was so hilarious. He asked me for help and through our broken English and German I actually helped him find the right train. To think I helped a Münchener find his way home tonight...

When we found that he was at the right platform, I managed to ask him, "Wo sind deine Freunde?" He just kinda stared off into space...I cracked up SO HARD.

Tonight: Bars for 21st birthday bash.
Tomorrow: Rockies game (11 win streak FTW)
Sunday: Relax

Oy! LOL, estarla!!! My husband did Oktoberfest in Munich one year (they say you have to do it once, just to say you did, but any other "fest" type thing in Germany looks about the same, any time of the year, to me: lots of beer, dancing on tables, staggering home, etc., even the ones here in spring time in Stuttgart). He came home with a chipped tooth from one of those gigantic steins, one of the four he put away in a short time span, and he's not a small guy! I'm glad you lived over it!

Don't you love the people that ask you for directions, and you can barely communicate? My mom and I both have that happen to us, in whatever country we're in, in whatever the local dialect might be. We must just look like natives wherever we go or something. Are we that nondescript??

Devin: is it your birthday?? If so:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Haha dreamweaver, we did Oktoberfest Wednesday and recooperated all of Thursday and I think we are pretty much fine not going back this trip!! ;) Hmm...maybe to catch some snacks, though. Har har.

LOL chipped tooth--that is hilarious. I believe it, those steins are so huge (I had no idea) and I can't believe the beer maids can carry practically 12 at a time!!

I wouldn't say nondescript, I'd say very friendly and approachable. ;) Hehehe....

Happy Birthday Devin, if it is your birthday!

I'm taking my 7 year old to his swim team practice. Freaky, I know. He loves it.

Then I'll play WoW, punctuated by one of my two kids coming in with an 'emergency'. I don't let them watch, so I'll turn the game off periodically.

On the 7th day, I shall rest.

Hah.

Well my weekend is almost over and I did almost as much Nothing as I was planning on doing.

However, Monday is a public holiday and I've been called in to work for some urgent stuff. There goes my long weekend of Nothingness...

The actual events didn't match up with plans.

Tonight I went ot a friend's for dinner and some games, then I headed out to a bar to watch a band perform.`

Saturday, before grocery shopping and general errands, I was at the Alzheimer's national fundraiser selling raffle tickets and pouring coffee for the walker's. Today, I plan on my kitchen looking like a war zone as I do lots of baking. Before I run out of energy, a friend and I are checking out a castle that hasn't been open to the public in 40 years and is an hour from me on 300 acres in the Adirondacks!

Thanks to dreamweaver and estarla. It was good times, for sure. :)
